COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Adidas SLVR | SoHo, NY

This store was designed by Ippolito Fleitz Group from Germany. Photos were taken by Kate Owen. The designers were very creative with their selections. We used a wire brushed silver painted floor, 2 way mirrors, and grey mirror. The fabrics selected were a combination of luxurious and sporty which goes very well with the brand.

Y3 | La Jolla, CA

We spent the summer of 2012 preparing for the opening of this Y-3 shop in the very sporty town of La Jolla. Sporty store in sporty town, duh. We should’ve thought of that, but we were lucky enough to build it. Rich and I finished the fabrication of the fixtures early and got to drive the fixtures cross country ourselves! Not to be out-sported, we drove all the way from the wood-shop in Bushwick, NY and arrived in La Jolla, CA. The La Jolla crew was, forgive me, a real Jolla to work with and they did such a wonderful job preparing the store for the fixture installation. We are thankful to Daniela and Carlos, and the whole Fashion Group team that helped make everything come together so nicely.

Jeremy Scott | New York, NY

The shop design was inspired by the work of Ettore Sottsass. We built a collection of intentionally lop sided shapes, squiggly colorful amoeba patterned walls, slick surfaces of blackened steel, plexiglass, and glossy painted wood. The mural was created by Blue Cat Traditional. These elements were an ideal backdrop for Jeremy Scott’s newest spring clothing line which was unveiled at the shop and which includes whimsical prints, from planets to telephones, as well as tanks made to look like “I love NY” take-out bags.

Y3 | Chicago, IL

The new Y-3, located on possibly the most prestigious street in all of Chicago: Oak Street, turned out perfect. It was amazingly stressful getting all of the fixtures fabricated and trades coordinated from NYC, but what a great success. Their opening was on time and we stayed within budget. I am thankful to Alice Reis for her design assistance.

Adidas SLVR | SoHo, NY

Located on Wooster Street in SOHO, this shop was long overdue for a facelift.
We made it just in time for NY Fashion Week!
