Oregon rules and programs

  • Electronics landfill ban

    Yes

It is illegal to put computers, monitors and TVs in the garbage or take them to Oregon landfills and transfer stations for disposal. Oregon E-Cycles recycles them free for households and small businesses, up to seven items at a time.

Find a site at oregonecycles.org or call 1-888-532-9253. Landfills and transfer stations may still collect these items at a recycling depot.
