3 sites in Hawaii are listed for electronics: 2 landfills and 1 drop-off center. The most are in Hawaii County (1), Honolulu County (1) and Kauai County (1).
All post hours and 1 publishes a fee. A site is listed when its own record names electronics. Limits and fees differ, so call before you load up.
Hawaii does not ban electronics from the trash, but its e-waste law makes manufacturers run recycling programs, and their collection sites may not charge you a fee when you bring a covered device to a central collection location.
Covered devices include computers, printers, monitors, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, portable music players, household routers and modems, TVs with screens of 9 inches or more, and peripherals; the list was expanded effective July 1, 2025.
