    Unprocessed tires may not be landfilled; cut or shredded tires may. A waste tire fee of $2.25 per passenger or light-truck tire is collected when new tires are sold.

  • Secured load law

    Yes

    A load may not drop, sift, leak or escape, and every load and covering must be securely fastened. Commercial haulers of garbage, refuse or other discarded material must also cover their loads.

    Failing to cover a commercial garbage or refuse load is punishable by a fine of up to $500, up to six months in jail, or both.
